Timekeeping & speed control
In the 11.6 km Kraftprovet race, net time is mainly used, which means that the time is measured from when the runner crosses the starting line. However, for seeded runners in the elite group, gross time is used, where the timing starts at the starting gun. For the top three places in the Men's and Women's classes, the result is determined by the order in which the runners cross the finish line.
For runners who want to maintain a steady pace, there are pacers for 50, 55, and 60-minute paces.
The Silver Medal
The silver medal is an extra award for elite athletes who run faster than average. It is intended as a clear goal for those who want to challenge themselves further. Runners who meet the time limits are rewarded, in addition to the honor, with an exclusive silver medal that differs from the regular medal. The time limits are 50:00 minutes for men and 55:00 minutes for women.
Fun Run Kraftprovet – New for this year
For those who have long wanted to run, but do not want to share their results with others. Now there is the opportunity to complete the Kraftprovet without timing. Otherwise, participants take part on the same terms as everyone else. No rankings or times are reported for this class.
